What is a CSV File?
A CSV is a Comma-Separated Values file, allows data to be saved in a tabular
format. CSVs look like an Excel spreadsheet but with a .csv extension instead of a
.xls extension.
CSV files look like, and can be used with most spreadsheet programs, such as
Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets. They are plain text documents and are
easy to upload into a database, for example on a website.
